I don't need that brand new car to get me where I'm going - I need Jesus

I don't need that comfort ice cream or that Starbucks Latte - I need Jesus

I don't need that shopping day to fill my closet (and empty my wallet) - I need Jesus, to fill up the corners of my inner most being.

I want to get rid of those ill - fitting clothes and those boxes of old memorabilia, clean the clutter out of my garage... when what I really need to do is clean myself from the outside - in. To get rid of all the garbage, clutter and death that takes up space in my heart and mind.

Jesus is here and now - not after I've satisfied myself... He is the one who gets me where I'm going, The one who hits the spot. He is just what I needed.

Suddenly its a little bit easier to get where I am going.

to humble myself
